L.A. WITH ADIDAS NEO: A DAY ON SET

Adidas Neo Maxwell Runko fall campaign shoot Los Angeles lisforlois
Ok so when I came home from my Abifahrt I got a mail from Adidas Neo saying I won the Neo Style Challenge. My reaction: Hold on so this was an actual competition? With a prize. And I won? Wait.. did somebody say L.A.?? NOWAY!
What did I miss? When I first got to mail to participate in the Neo challenge I thought, "Why not?". I already had a clear idea of what I wanted to do before I even knew what the clothes looked like that I was going to style, plus it sounded like a fun project. I honestly thought that being a "stylist for a day" was their fancy way of terming me styling my friends. That was me being a "stylist for day", right? Somehow I missed this was an actual competition with the price being 3 days in L.A. assisting styling the new Adidas NEO campaign. You can imagine how surprised and happy I was!

READY FOR L.A.

IMG_1649

When flying I usually try to wear something that's very comfortable. Mostly a long pair of trousers because it can get extremely cold during flights (especially night time flights!), a pair of sneakers and a top paired with a jacket I can easily remove or throw over according to what the temperature is like on board. And this is the outfit I wore during my flight to L.A. with Adidas Neo.

I usually wear the outfit that incorporates most of my clothes I want to bring along, during the day of my flight. Also I consider this as my number #1 trick. It sometimes collides with my "comfortably dressed for flight" rule. However this allows me to bring along half of my closet, even if it's just a three day trip.

LEO LOVER

Hanging out Berlin lisforlois

Here's my total outfit from the day I was hanging out with Dogi& Ina. It's the first time I left my house in high heels without an extra pair of flats to change in. And I survived! I'm wearing my favourite mini leo dress (it's become a little short :/ ... ) and the most comfy pair of wedges I own. You wouldn't think they're H&M Divided.

FILMING...

Filming Der Nachtmahr lisforlois Filming Der Nachtmahr lisforlois Filming Der Nachtmahr lisforlois Filming Der Nachtmahr lisforlois

It's been very quietly lately here on the blog. So what have I been up to? Filming as a "party girl" for Der Nachtmahr, a new movie coming to the cinemas with Wilson Gonzales Ochsenknecht. From 9 o'clock to daybreak. 3 nights. When I get home, I sleep and then it's the same story: back to the set, filming from 9 til daybreak. It's been really fun, but it gets so extremely cold at night (Hello?? Where have the summer nights gone to??). Chatting, laughing and cozing with Arnel (C-c-c-costa! from Türkisch für Anfänger or Kebab for Breakfast engl. Titel), InaDogi and some of my friends I made join. The last day got quite boring though, not only for us, but even for some of the actors. We didn't get to dance but had to "chill". And fighting the cold became tough.
Both locations we shot at looked pretty amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like on big screen. And my foolish self xD

HANGING OUT WITH INA AND DOGI

Hanging out Berlin lisforlois

This week I went for dinner with Dogi and Ina and we were joined by Ina's little sister and a family friend. We found a nice pizza and pasta place right at Eberswalderstraße. Don't know what it's called though. It's so good and really really cheap! You can get a full pizza for 2,50€ and it's nice to sit outside, actually right on Eberswalderstraße, watching Berlin pass by. It's so good that we went there again for dinner just a few days later.
Definitely a little insider hotspot for me!

I just sat there in the presence of my friends, observing Berlin and its people, watching them pass me by as the sun began to set. We even went for a night walk. Days like these and nights like these are so worth wile...
