DIESEL LOVERDOSE TATTOO

Diesel loverdose Tattoo eau de Parfum lisforlois
This post is dedicated to my favorite scent of all times Diesel Loverdose Tattoo. It's my signature scent. I know for a fact that it smells particularly different on my skin. It wouldn't smell the same on you or on friend the way it smells on me. I don't know what it is but the fusion with my skin and probably own odor see for a perfect match.
It's very sexy and smells very pleasant without being too much. It's the right kind of subtle without being lost, the right kind of without being heavy. It's sensual.
I haven't been wearing it lately since I've run out of it, but it kept me for good three years. I still remember the event Nisi took me to during Fashion Week 2013 where the scent was presented for the first time and since then we have not parted ways.

KILLERQUEEN BY KATY PERRY

Killerqueen by Katy Perry Perfume lisforlois
One of the cutest surprises was when this big red velvet box arrived at my doorstep. It even came with a red velvet flower, that is part of the perfume's composition, wrapped in a tiny water container and a golden envelope sealed with Katy Perry's kitty logo.
My first time smelling Killerqueen, I found it way too sweet, although I have sweet tooth for scents (if you can say that?). What I mean to say is usually I am a real sucker for sweet scents. But Killerqueen was another level. I've used Killerqueen several more times occasionally and it smells a bit different now. Right now I gotta admit, I'm kinda digging the cotton candy scent. It's very intense, heavy, very overpowering and also a bit oriental. But it's not something I could use everyday.
It's something I'd use when I want to make a statement. Something very occasional and rare.

DIESEL LOVERDOSE TATTOO LAUNCH

ph. Friederike

On the same night of the Starbucks Discoveries Presents: Alice M. Huynh, just a few hours before, Nisi took me along to the Diesel Loverdose Tattoo Perfume release party. Which was a great party! Live performance by Anna F. and face lace.. Nisi and me definitely had a good time until mother nature decided to rain on our parade.. But then again we were already off to the next party/event/show.
The Loverdose Tattoo Launch was one of those parties that were held in a small gathering of invited guests. It took place in a small studio with the party continuing in the cozy backyard.
A small dark lit room held an installation with two longhaired models gracing what must have been like the most gorgeous bathtub I've ever seen (hello?? where can I get that for my future appartement?) and a huge XXL sized king bed amongst black roses. Right above the bed the new advertisement for Loverdose Tattoo was projected onto the wall, showing Anna Brewster's bare back covered in a full body tattoo. Is it just me or are perfume adverts always really gorgeous? That same room held a mini bar with one of the most interesting cocktails I've ever drank (The Calvin Klein Encounter cocktails that were made of the main ingredients of the Encounter perfume was pretty interesting too!), but tasted horrible in my opinion. I'm just not a bitter chocolate kinda girl!
Every corner was decorated with the heart shaped black tinted flacon.
I pretty much loved the launch.

More pictures here.

LADY GAGA FAME PERFUME REVIEW

If I may be very honest, I was expecting something.. you know.. gaga.
Something very odd, very peculiar, like the scent of blood or something creepy like that. I mean come on! If you ask a woman that goes to the VMAs covered in nothing but meat to design her very own perfume, what would you expect her creation to smell like?
A woman that is not afraid to live art, to be art, to be different.
A woman that does not care the least bit of what others are going think.
Honestly I was expecting the scent to be so horrid that I would want to toss at the back of my room, but because I fell in love with the look of the flacon, it would have won a secured spot on my display.
