EXPLORING GRANADA WITH #LUMIAINGRANADA

Hey guys!
I'm finally sharing my pictures from my very short but sweet trip to Granada. It was a much needed getaway to the country side of Spain Andalusia. I was lucky enough to be Microsoft's (and yet again a Nokia) guest for their #lumiaingranada trip. I'm pretty sure you've been wondering what it was all about, since I have been bombarding you with tumblr-esque pictures on my Insta Feed (@LisforLOIS).
Amongst digital influencers - from mobile photographers (yes, that is a thing!), instagramers and bloggers - from different countries I had the chance to discover Granada through the Lumia 930 mobile. But that wasn't all.

SHORT TRIP TO MUNICH WITH ADIDAS NEO

A little while back my favourite Adidas NEO team invited me to come brunch with them in Munich, hang out and have a look at the upcoming collection and what's new for Selena Gomez x Adidas NEO, which will be in stores next week.
The night before NEO treated us to some really good burgers (Hamburgerei, München goood!) reunited with my NEO girls, Anni and Chi. And we were joined by the rest of the Today Is girls and my baby girl Serah.
During brunch at Little Charlottchen München, I browsed through the new pieces and simply enjoyed the time with the team. NEO has some cute pieces coming up, also within the Selena Gomez x NEO collection, which we weren't allowed to show you guys yet. My favourite piece has to be the jacket with leather arms and wine red checked material (I tried it on below) that's perfect for fall.
We kinda all stayed a while until brunch turned to lunch, before it was time to catch my train and head back to Berlin.

LAST SUNDAY..

Last Sunday was my first time ever at a stadium. Adidas invited Annie and me to come hang out for a game for the fixture FC Bayern vs Eintracht Frankfurt. We had dinner prior to the game in Adidas' sponsors lounge within the stadium, dessert and more beer in the break and more dinner after the game. Just before the game was about to start we walked down into the arena and took our seats. The minute I laid eyes on that pitch I was blown away, I nearly dropped my beer. It was such a magical sight and I was hit by the atmosphere and spirit in that stadium right away. We had the best seats, we were so close to the pitch but far enough that we could still see the entire pitch in one glance. Well it was very hollywood with the rain and the little mist and slight fog, the cheering fans all in perfect synch, how everything stopped for a second as I took it all in, except that it was real and mother nature does not stage. I couldn't stop smiling and staring. The game was too perfect too, they won 5-0.

TWO WONDERFUL DAYS WITH ADIDAS NEO

Last week I spent two wonderful days in Nürnberg for the Adidas NEO Best Friends Days which meant we all got to bring our best friend along. Unfortunately Louisa had to drop out very last minute, but Adidas was so kind to let me bring another really really great friend of mine, Ayse, along and we spent the two days with a lot of laughter, bonding, roomservice, one night at the Holiday Inn Nürnberg City, really really good dinner and breakfast, a cup of Glühwein at the Christlmarkt, late night sport session at the Hotel gym with Whoopie and my beloved Serah, a quick invasion of us girls of the Hotel Sauna, hours of girly talk and just way too much fun to fit into two days.
With my usual Adidas NEO companions in crime Desi&Nisi and their best friends we boarded the plane to Nürnberg, an hour later united with the other invited bloggers (It's no NEO trip without Desi, Nisi and Annie! Adidas NEO events are becoming something like our traditional quicky reunion spots :D ), two new faces and my much loved Adidas NEO Team.

Black J.LO (yes that's me in my P.I.M.P coat and shades for no apparent reason - it certainly wasn't sunny outside!) and WasLosAyseeee?! (Ayse) were ready to take over Nürnberg City.

L.A. WITH ADIDAS NEO: SUNSET MARQUIS

As if being called at every single lay-over just to make sure I was alright and being picked up by a driver  (same driver who picked me up and brought me back to the airport when it was time to say goodbye to L.A.)  in a Lincoln having my own party in the backseat with Kendrick Lamar playing at full blast (my driver was the best!!) wasn't already cute enough, I was allowed to call the beautiful Sunset Marquis my home for 3 days. It was all very overwhelming and quite fascinating for me. Sunset Marquis is a beautiful place to stay at. It's right in the center of West Hollywood. A walk away from La Cienega :D

L.A. WITH ADIDAS NEO: A DAY ON SET

Ok so when I came home from my Abifahrt I got a mail from Adidas Neo saying I won the Neo Style Challenge. My reaction: Hold on so this was an actual competition? With a prize. And I won? Wait.. did somebody say L.A.?? NOWAY!
What did I miss? When I first got to mail to participate in the Neo challenge I thought, "Why not?". I already had a clear idea of what I wanted to do before I even knew what the clothes looked like that I was going to style, plus it sounded like a fun project. I honestly thought that being a "stylist for a day" was their fancy way of terming me styling my friends. That was me being a "stylist for day", right? Somehow I missed this was an actual competition with the price being 3 days in L.A. assisting styling the new Adidas NEO campaign. You can imagine how surprised and happy I was!

READY FOR L.A.

When flying I usually try to wear something that's very comfortable. Mostly a long pair of trousers because it can get extremely cold during flights (especially night time flights!), a pair of sneakers and a top paired with a jacket I can easily remove or throw over according to what the temperature is like on board. And this is the outfit I wore during my flight to L.A. with Adidas Neo.

I usually wear the outfit that incorporates most of my clothes I want to bring along, during the day of my flight. Also I consider this as my number #1 trick. It sometimes collides with my "comfortably dressed for flight" rule. However this allows me to bring along half of my closet, even if it's just a three day trip.

16h and 23h flights with never ending lay overs, Mel's Drive-In, West Hollywood, Adidas Neo Team, hot weather, gorgeous and supernice models, gold in my sushi,  big XXL kingsized beds, Sunset Marquis, the nicest team I've worked with, a really cool crowd, once across the world and back, my first time in the U.S. and 3 days alone in the City of Angels...

L.A. series have begun!

LLORET SHOPPING

I'm back in Berlin after a very amazing L.A. trip.
My Abifahrt to Lloret was pretty fun, although the weather was a little unpredictable. I uploaded a few pictures from my trip on Instagram.
I actually thought Lloret was useless for shopping. In the end I left 100€ in that city and returned with clothes of that value. My new favourite bag is from a tiny boutique from there. At a cute store called Shana I bought a maxi onepiece, a summer scarf and the cute little mini skirt. The bikinis were each 5€ at a store on the main shopping road. The mirrored sunglasses are from a NoName tourist shop of which they have about hundred on just a single road.
The little duffle bag was picked up at Stradivarius during my Barcelona day trip with a group of my friends. Unfortunately we had two guys among us whose's impatience left us with literally 5 minutes of shopping, so I only stopped by Stradivarius for a very very quick visit.

OFF TO L.A.

I can't believe this is happening. My suitcase is packed and I'm looking at my flight tickets, ready to leave for the airport. I can't believe I'm about to spend 3 wonderful days with the Adidas Neo team in L.A. all because I won the Adidas Neo Style Challenge.
Somebody pinch me please.

MINIATURE UPDATE FROM MY LIFE

Right now I'm blogging from England. A few days back I was in Northampton visiting my cousin with my brother and mother and right now I am in Leicester to visit my uncle.


I watched The Hunger Games and I loved it!
Though I don't really understand the comparisons with Twilight. Children slaughtering each other and a girl falling in love with a Vampire does not exactly strike me as similar. Or is it just the crazy ass fans, the hype and hysteria that are being compared? I know for a fact that Twilight fans are mental, I haven't checked out The Hunger Games fan base, so I can't really comment on that. Either way if you get time to check out the movie, you should. :)


Anyway, more ground breaking news is that I FINALLY watched Easy A starring Emma Stone. ADORE. I love the fact that Olive (who on earth calls their daughter Olive??! Haha!) is just an everyday girl making fun of high school's primitive mentality but finding herself being caught in the middle of lies with good intentions.
Btw how hot fit, as British would say, does Lonely Boy aka Penn Badgley look in that movie??


Which reminds me I caught the latest episode of GossipGirl today. All I can say is that if there was underwear with Team Ivy or Team Van Der Woodsen/Upper East Side Bitches I'd be wearing Team Ivy right now. I'm developing a great dislike for the Upper East Side's behaviour, so you can't exactly blame me for bursting out laughing when Da Realz Gossip Girl dissed Serena. buuurrrn!

Most disappointing thing today was opening my suitcase, ready to jump into my Onepiece and get all snuggly, but having to realize I left it at home. I LEFT IT AT HOME!!!!! Bummer! England of all countries should be the home of Onepiece wearers. No weather calls more for snuggly cozy lazy days in bed in a Onepiece than here. I think I'll never be able to live in England permanently, because as a matter of fact I'd spend nearly everyday inside feeling too unmotivated to leave the house due to weather. I checked the forecast, no surprises.
Whats a snuggly day without a Onepiece? Exactly! Not snuggly at all.


Mid Season Sale!! Keeping my fingers crossed mid season sale has hit England too. On my shopping list: Topshop and Primark. The classics I guess.


I'm dying to catch Project X with my friends in cinema. I hope it'll be out by the time I'm back. I sense it's going to be the most epic movie of all times - all times!! (credits to Kanye here) after Hangover. (Or maybe even before Hangover? ;) ) Check out the trailer and you'll know why! :)


Berlin got it's first Hollister store! So sad I had to miss the event, one of many this week. I found out that there are several people I know working there. The world is so small!

BACK IN BERLINO

Hey Guys!!
I'm back in Berlin. I landed this afternoon and was shocked by the weather here. Infact I wanted to hop back on the plane and jet right back to SUNNY HOT Verona - two words that seem to be antonyms to describe this year's summer in Berlin.
I took these pictures outside of the airport just before I had to catch my flight back.

I knew weather in Berlin wasn't going to let my wear my sunhat (unless ofcourse I wanted to look like a fool out of place) but I'm scared to stuff hats into suitcases, you know what I mean?

I'm heading to the cinema in an hour! Time for some quality time with one of my best friends. :D

Hallo ihr lieben!!
Ich bin wieder in Berlin. Ich bin heute Nachmittag angekommen und war sofort schockiert über das Wetter hier. Ehrlich gesagt, wollte ich in den nächsten Flieger springen zum SONNIGEN HEIßEN Verona - zwei Wörter, die wie Antonyme scheinen, um den Sommer dieses Jahres in Berlin zu beschreiben.
Ich wusste, dass das Wetter in Berlin mir nicht erlauben würde meinen Sonnenhut zu tragen (es sei denn, ich würde gern wie ein Trottel am Falschen Ort aussehen wollen), aber ich habe Angst Hüte in Koffer zu stopfen, wisst ihr was ich meine?
Ich gehe gleich ins Kino! Zeit um wieder etwas mit einer meiner besten Freunde zu machen :D
Letztendlich ist es doch schön wieder zu Hause zu sein :)
